Our AusGreen program helps save the planet & saves you 10% off our Customs Brokerage fee

AUSCUS is passionate about looking after the environment and we encourage our clients to do so. As part of our AusGreen program, clients who are shipping consignments which are considered environmentally friendly and sustainable, will receive 10% off our Customs Brokerage fee.

Plus, there’ll be no charge for additional lines per customs entry, currently $7.50 per additional entry line. That all adds up to considerable savings and that’s good for you and good for the environment.

Have you heard of the Low Sulphur Surcharge?

The freight shipping industry is committed to going green and has imposed a Low Sulphur Surcharge. It encourages ship owners and builders to stop using existing marine & diesel engines which emit harmful Sulphur Oxide into the environment.

Also known as the Green Fuel Surcharge, this tax is designed to persuade ship owners to convert to engines that use low sulphur fuel oil. This will help reduce harmful emissions, ensure cleaner air and help the industry sail towards a greener future.

Supporting our community

At Australian Customs Brokers & Logistics (AUSCUS), we’re committed to helping our community. We hire locals, buy from local suppliers whenever possible and support local charities and organisations.

Bowel Cancer Australia is one of the special charities we support. Our Director, Louise Jones, has a personal connection to this issue, with a loved one passing from Bowel Cancer in 2020. Her brother, aged 38, when first diagnosed passed away a year later from this disease. 

We are told to get tested after the age of 50 but in reality, it’s best to get checked at an early age. Before his passing, he was an advocate for guys to get checked early because Bowel Cancer does not age discriminate. Early detection helps saves lives.
