Supporting our community

At Australian Customs Brokers & Logistics (AUSCUS), we’re committed to helping our community. We hire locals, buy from local suppliers whenever possible and support local charities and organisations.

Bowel Cancer Australia is one of the special charities we support. Our Director, Louise Jones, has a personal connection to this issue, with a loved one passing from Bowel Cancer in 2020. Her brother, aged 38, when first diagnosed passed away a year later from this disease.

We are told to get tested after the age of 50 but in reality, it’s best to get checked at an early age. Before his passing, he was an advocate for guys to get checked early because Bowel Cancer does not age discriminate. Early detection helps saves lives.

Bowel Cancer facts

  • Bowel cancer (also known as colorectal cancer) is the third most common type of newly diagnosed cancer in Australia
  • 15,206 Australians are told they have bowel cancer each year
  • That’s 293 a week
  • And includes 1,542 people under the age of 50
  • It’s the second deadliest cancer after lung cancer
  • Early detection is the key

*At the end of each calendar year, any profits which AUSCUS makes from our AusGreen program will be donated to Bowel Cancer Australia. Go to our AusGreen program for more information.

Brothers Rugby
Club Sponsorship

At Auscus, we believe in giving back to the community and supporting opportunities that inspire growth and success.

That’s why we’re proud to sponsor the U18 Women’s Brothers Rugby 7’s Team who geared up to compete in the prestigious Global Youth Sevens Tournament in Auckland, New Zealand.

The Global Youth Sevens is an annual event that brings together the brightest young talent in Rugby 7’s from around the world. It’s an incredible platform for these talented athletes to showcase their skills, gain international experience, and make lasting memories.

We’re thrilled to help with their journey and to support such a hardworking and dedicated team.
